Camp Terrapin at The Legacy School is a co-ed camp for children ages 6-13. Our summer program blends traditional summer time activities of swimming and outdoor play with an individualized learning and tutoring program for students who possess the potential to excel but who have struggled with learning differences such as Dyslexia, central auditory processing disorder, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and ADD.
Camp Terrapin runs for four full weeks. You are welcome to sign your child up for just one or two weeks or the full duration. Our goal is that the students enjoy summer while also maintaining their academic progress between the academic years. Our summer program provides intensive one on one instruction to help students in grades 1-8 improve their reading, writing and math skills. Our program also supports their self-esteem, social skills, and emotional growth. This program is based on years of experience successfully educating and remediating children with language based learning differences. The kids will be enriched and have fun in the Summer sun all that the same time.
Please note that you do not have to attend Legacy School year round to attend Camp Terrapin. We accept students who are not enrolled in our academic program.
